Independent web developer

Web work that gets done.

I’m Melissa Piper: a full-stack Drupal and WordPress developer with 20+ years of agency experience. From the first rough brief to the last production fix, I build websites that work hard and hold up.

What I do

Useful expertise. No layers.

Build and rebuild

New sites, redesigns, component libraries, and CMS implementations. I can take a project from a blank page to a solid launch.

Untangle problems

Performance issues, brittle templates, painful publishing workflows, and stubborn front-end bugs. Big or small, I’ll find the practical path through.

Make it work for everyone

Semantic HTML, accessible interactions, responsive layouts, and the details that make a good site easier to use.
