About Melissa
Twenty years in agencies taught me what actually matters.
I’m a web developer who has spent a career turning smart ideas into sites people can use. I’ve worked across higher education, nonprofit, service, and retail organizations, with agencies where deadlines and details matter.
My strongest foundation is front-end development: semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, interface work, and accessibility. I also work comfortably across the stack, particularly in Drupal and WordPress, so I can build the front end with the CMS, data, and editorial workflow in mind.
I like the work that needs steady hands: figuring out why something broke, improving a difficult publishing experience, sharpening a design system, or getting a launch over the line. No issue is too big or too small if it matters to your site and the people using it.
